Glad to See Connolly Go

To the editor:

As a 39-year resident of Fairfax County, I can only rejoice at Gerald Connolly’s big win for the Democratic nomination for Congress. He will certainly win this fall with the Republicans on the run and Barack Obama doing well in this region.

I rejoice because he can do little damage to our region as a freshman member of 435 members. At least we will get rid of him as chairman of our Board of Supervisors.
